Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need before your first consultation — for tattoo bookings, nail bookings, and general studio questions.

Booking & Consultations

How do I book a tattoo consultation?

Tattoo consultations with Jarlath Tourish or Edo Tattoo are booked through Cal.com. Custom work is consultation-led — the consultation is the first step, not the booking itself, and gives us the chance to talk through your idea, placement, and sizing before anything is scheduled.

How do I book a nail appointment?

Nail bookings with PUCA_NAILZ run separately from tattoo bookings — she takes appointments directly through her own Instagram (@puca_nailz), not through Cal.com.

Do you take walk-ins?

Custom work is consultation-led, so walk-ins for larger or bespoke pieces aren't the standard route — booking a consultation first means the piece gets the right amount of thought before any needle touches skin. For smaller or simpler requests, get in touch directly and we'll let you know what's possible.

How far in advance should I book?

Availability is intentionally limited to protect the quality of custom work, so booking ahead is recommended — particularly for larger pieces or specific artists.

Getting Tattooed

What styles do you specialise in?

Across the studio: fine line, blackwork, dotwork, geometric, Celtic and Nordic form, botanical, large-scale projects, illustrative blackwork, and folklore-inspired custom work. See the Portfolio and Artists pages for examples from each artist.

Can I bring my own design?

Yes — custom work often starts from a client's own idea, reference, or story. The consultation is where that gets shaped into something that will hold well on the body long-term.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Come well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten beforehand. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior. Wear clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.

How do I look after a new tattoo?

Aftercare guidance is given directly after your session, tailored to the size and placement of your piece. If you have questions once healing is underway, reach out by email and we'll help directly.
